The offices of Academic Programs and Faculty Affairs assists the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs in administering the academic programs and services of the University. The offices work with faculty and academic college deans in program planning, policy development, curriculum change, and course development. Additionally, the offices oversee a number of initiatives related to the academic performance and success of students, monitoring course offerings, academic advising, student retention, and graduation rates. The Assistant Vice President for Faculty Affairs serves as the University’s liaison to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and administers the University’s endowed professorship and chair programs.
