| To foster integrity in intercollegiate athletics, the NCAA requires member
institutions to seek certification of their athletics programs every
ten years. The certification process requires a year-long self-study
conducted by a group that broadly represents the many constitutents
of an athletic program: students, faculty, and administrators from
both within and outside of athletics, as well as alumni and members
of the community at large. |

| From June 2007 through April 2008, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette
conducted a self-study of its athletics program. The self-study focuses
on three areas: Governance and Commitment to Rules Compliance, Academic
Integrity, and Equity and Student-Athlete Well-Being. Information
about that process and the resulting self-study are available through
