UNIV 200: Information Literacy
 
UNIV 200 is a 2 credit-hour course that eventually (2013 catalogue) all students at the university will take. It fulfills the “information literacy” Gen Ed requirement.
 
The course covers the use of word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, and database software for communication, research, and productivity. Basic computer technology operations and concepts will be covered, as well as social, ethical, and human issues related to computer technology.
